Importance of Clinical Pathology in Field Conservation Efforts
Shared talk with Julie Sheldon, DVM, MS, DACZM and Nicole Stacy, DVM, DrMedVet, DACVP
Field conservation efforts usually include facets of measuring animal health. Veterinarian involvement can be important in many ways and this lecture focuses on how clinical pathology, such as hematology and clinical chemistry data, can contribute valuable information to conservation projects. This lecture will highlight several studies or cases in which clinical pathology has played important roles in literature contribution, management, and conservation.
